IAN THORPE INTO THE LIGHT

I started painting Ian Thorpe months ago after I heard about his battle with depression. Like most Australians, I love Thorpie & was saddened to hear this. The background was originally blue tones & I kind of put in on the back burner, until now .... Ian Thorpe came out on Sunday night, I hope he finds the happiness he deserves now he can publically live his truth & finally get the media off his back about his sexuality.
